(Am I Being) Too Sensitive?

Patrick Semansky/AP *

We all react to things differently and I am curious to see if you share some of my misgivings about this year’s White House decorations.

Take a look at the scene in the State Dining Room with the Gingerbread White House.  There is some sort of animal with horns tacked onto a gilded mirror.  It has apparently been there for awhile.  I traced it back to Obama and stopped looking.  So I can’t blame this on the Bidens.  But drawing attention to it?  I wouldn’t.  Last year, I think the White House used red ribbon.  But this year they used a ribbon I would describe as midnight blue.  From a distance, it looks black and the way it attaches the wreath looks like horns to me.

So is this an animal or is it the devil?

Guess it’s appropriate they use this particular color for the ornaments on the wreath and throughout the White House given their attachment to all things green.  Did you notice the image of the candle chandelier in the mirror appears to be descending on “We the People” and setting it on fire.

Too sensitive?

The animals in the White House (not talking about Brandon) are featured prominently in a few of the displays.  For example, in the East Colonnade all eyes are directed down the hall where a replica of a German shepherd, in this case “Commander” (a replacement for Champ who bit the Secret Service), looks like he’s dressed up to be Little Red Riding Hood.  I bet the kids don’t play down here unless it’s in their nightmares.

Upon closer inspection, this is not about Little Red Riding Hood.

And yet it also can’t be taken at face value, because German shepherds don’t wear dog masks with crimson scarves circling their necks, and pose with cats, also wearing masks, looking into the woods in earnest in the middle of a snow storm.  This makes no sense at all.

It’s the mask thing that bothers me the most.  There is nothing whimsical about animals wearing masks.

George tells me these masks could be gimps.  They’re used in something Biden’s former head of the Department of Energy, Sam Brinton, calls “pup play.”  As he explains it:  “It’s part of a sub-culture of BDSM where (mostly) men behave like young dogs, complete with masks and tails. ”

Jim Watson/AFP via Getty Images *

I said he, but I could have used the wrong gender here.  Brinton is a self-described queer activist who enjoys “Puppy Play & Gimp Kink.”  What gender would that be?

Was “pup play” the impetus for putting a dog mask on a dog in wonderland?

Too sensitive?

Ok, here’s another “ruff” scene in the State Dining Room that was intended to project “kindness and warmth.”  Why would Commander and Willow have five-point stars for collars?   Aren’t five-point stars pentagrams believed by many to have magical properties?

Too sensitive?

And what about this:  Do the ornaments surrounding the entrance to the East Wing have phallic symbols in them?

Patrick Semansky/AP *

And here’s the last one.  It’s in the Blue Room.  Trees don’t grow in briar patches.  In looking at the bottom of this tree what comes to mind is briar that would be used to burn a witch at the stake.  The flames would then circle around and upward.  Kind of like the gold garland appears to be doing, snaking its way up to the top where the ceiling is equipped with a magic circle.

They even have the briar lit up at the bottom.  I mean, come on!  What else could they be going for here?  The “warm and cozy” look?

Too sensitive?  Maybe not.

  1. No wonder Hunter is the way he is. Thank you for the Christmas tour. The White House has been trashed by its current inhabitants.

  2. Yes, there is some sensitivity….or perhaps heightened observation.
Either way, looking at Christmas, decorations and ornaments, should not make one feel uncomfortable. I believe one must thoughtfully go out of their way to make it such.
And heaven help the mind that thinks like that.
We are beyond the Dumb Age!!!

These are not Nativity(Christmas) decorations. What is so disturbing is the absolute hijacking of the celebration of our Lord’s birth and turning it into something unrecognizable. The decorations glorify “We the People” and not the Lord Jesus Christ. I’ll call it as I see it. This is pride! If we as a nation do not repent of our sins and start Glorifying Christ than there is no hope for our country. Our country it seems has been over the years dead set on removing all vestiges of Christ from the holiday. These decorations have no mention of the “reason for the season” and instead speaks to elevating the USA to godhood. My answer to these so called decorations is this: CHRIST IS BORN! GLORIFY HIM!

  4. Let us sing together:
I’m NOT Dreaming of a White House Christmas

The third picture reminds me of the mansion in Eyes Wide Shut for some reason. (Did you know that this was the Rothschild mansion in Upstate New York? )

Sorry I don’t see it. But I know the United States on an institutional level is evil, so I’m neither surprised nor outraged if it’s true.

  7. Well, those are certainly bizarre Holiday decorations! Kind of makes one wonder.

  8. I don’t know if some of these are as bad as you think, but the government has been masonic/demonic since the beginning. Look at a satellite view of the Capitol and see if you can find the inverted pentagram. Def an occult symbol when inverted.

  9. Yes

  10. Don’t know about all of it, the symbolism, that is. But the regime is evil. The thing is that, really, it’s just an extension of and reinforcement of the Liberal Borg that has run America since FDR. I call it Tammany Hall after the famous political establishment from the 19th century. It also incorporates the lion’s share of the Republican Party as a type of “moon party” entity – think of the team that perpetually plays the Harlem Globetrotters. This is all to give the impression of a “free society” in a totalitarian Liberal fascist oligarchy.

Trump simply won in 2016 by too large a margin to be cancelled out by all the cheating that was done in that election as well. As a result, the Democrat loser, HRC, projected that the evil Russians had stolen the election when, in fact, the DNC and intelligence services simply failed to rig it sufficiently to drag her over the line. This came out in some of the presentations at Lindell’s symposium.

So really, nothing has changed in a way. It was always fixed and rigged and no different in principle than the government in communist states. The only difference was the policies pursued (more tolerant of business, even partnering with it) and the illusory appearance of freedom. However, the little cabal that runs the thing has gotten evermore deranged in its economic and social policy – so much that it is self-destructing from overspending and social engineering.

The world has turned against the West due to its avarice and degeneracy. There is now occurring a full-on war between Liberalism, Inc. vs. the East where the Global South is aligning with the East. The reason it is not nuclear is because the West does not have the stomach for such an encounter and is even avoiding direct combat between NATO forces and Russian forces (for the most part) because that could lead directly to nuclear war. But a hybrid war has been raging on the economic front which is more severe in some ways than the economic facet of anti-German activities in WWII. In effect, it is WWIII, it’s just that so far there seems to be a consensus prevailing that nukes should stay off the table.

The stakes are higher than most people in the West appreciate. The Russian-Chinese alliance has stopped the spread of the Liberal virus in the East and the Third World and is sending it into remission. This is at the same time as their economies are ascending and the Western economies are receding.

Western Liberalism is being contained and rolled back.

    Alleluia.

  11. Logan Sowers says

We are called to be in the world not of the world. Likewise, we should not expect the world to be anything like us. A lot of people spend a lot of energy discussing America’s fall from grace as a Christian nation, the truth is we were never a Christian nation to begin with. We are and have always been a country with an overwhelmingly Christian population and a secular government. The size of the Christian majority (and authenticity) continue to shrink but the government has remained secular and it is celebrating Christmas in the secular way. There is nothing demonic about the White House furniture, and there are no evil secret messages behind the depictions of the President’s dogs. You could accurately say that the White House holiday decorations are almost completely void of any mention of the Nativity, but the same could be said for vast majority of Americans homes. We would all do well to embrace the biblical message for the season of peace on earth and goodwill among men.

RE: “There is nothing demonic about the White House furniture, and there are no evil secret messages behind the depictions of the President’s dogs.”

14 presidents were Freemasons and Freemasons are all about symbols so I imagine the mirror is typical of what you might see in any room. This particular mirror was bought in by Truman. – I highly doubt Jill Biden had much input into the decorations, if she’s even still there. People from outside the White House brought these in and if Disney can get away with sexual imagery, I suspect it’s not too hard to keep a “witch aesthetic” under wraps.

They don’t think of it as demonic. To them, “it’s a ‘pre-Christian tradition’ that promotes ‘free thought’ and ‘understanding of earth and nature.”

Number Of Witches Rises Dramatically Across U.S. As Millennials Reject Christianity

Witchcraft and pagan religious practices increased in the U.S. over the past few decades, with Millennials turning to alternatives ranging from astrology and tarot cards and away from Christianity and traditionally dominant Abrahamic religions.

The number of witches and Americans practicing Wicca religious rituals increased dramatically since the 1990s, with several recent studies indicating there may be at least 1.5 million witches across the country. A Trinity College study conducted in 1990 estimated only about 8,000 Wiccans in the U.S., but the increase has been led by a rejection of mainstream Christianity among young Americans as well as a rise in occultism.

With 1.5 million potential practicing witches across the U.S., witchcraft has more followers than the 1.4 million mainline members of the Presbyterian church.

Data collected by the Pew Research Center and Trinity College in Connecticut show witchcraft and pre-Christian traditions have been revitalized by young adults, Quartz noted. Millennials are seeking more freedom in their spirituality and interest in astrology and tarot card readings have spiked in recent years.

Millennials, celebrities, and even critics of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh have embraced the “witch aesthetic” over more repressive Christian beliefs, Quartz reported.

“From 1990 to 2008, Trinity College in Connecticut ran three large, detailed religion surveys,” said Quartz. “Those have shown that Wicca grew tremendously over this period. From an estimated 8,000 Wiccans in 1990, they found there were about 340,000 practitioners in 2008.”

The Trinity College data also revealed there were about 340,000 Pagans in the country in 2008. The Pew Research Center, which has long pointed out the ongoing decline in U.S. Protestant and Catholic membership, released a June survey which found adults under 40 are far less likely to say religion is “very important” in their lives.

“It makes sense that witchcraft and the occult would rise as society becomes increasingly postmodern. The rejection of Christianity has left a void that people, as inherently spiritual beings, will seek to fill,” author Julie Roys said in comments emailed to The Christian Post last month.

“Plus, Wicca has effectively repackaged witchcraft for millennial consumption,” Roys continued. “No longer is witchcraft and paganism satanic and demonic, it’s a ‘pre-Christian tradition’ that promotes ‘free thought’ and ‘understanding of earth and nature.”

A recent spate of witchcraft-related stories have emerged over the past few months in the political sphere. During the congressional confirmation hearings of Judge Brett Kavanaugh last month, a Brooklyn bookstore placed a “hex” on the controversial conservative. That coven was joined by singer Lana Del Rey in declaring they’d already placed several hexes on President Donald Trump.

Despite the rise in practicing witches, the U.S. is still dominated by Christianity, which composes 70 percent of the country’s religious population, the Pew Research Center noted earlier this year. A little more than 22 percent of Americans list themselves as “unaffiliated” with any religion.

Throughout history, a rise in fear has been matched with a rise in adherence to belief systems–whether that comes in the form of mainstream religion, or other alternatives.

I disagree. The message of the season is not peace, goodwill toward men. Also the words preceding these words are Glory to God in the Highest! The total announcement according to the Gospel of Luke is Glory to God in the Highest and on earth peace, goodwill to men! This was said after the Angel delivered his message! What was this message? Was the message that we are supposed to embrace is peace , goodwill to men? St Luke provides the answer in the Gospel!

And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:† “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:9-14, OSB)

Christ is born! What a wonderful message! This is the reason for the season! It saddens me that in so many of the houses of my countryman that Christ is not prominently displayed in there Christmas decorations. The “Biblical message” that we should be exclaiming from the rooftops is Christ is born! He was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man! Christ did this for our salvation! CHRIST IS BORN! GLORIFY HIM!

  12. I’m not sure that looking for signs is productive. We know they’re evil oligarchs by their actions. We don’t need to see 666 on their foreheads to confirm their wickedness.

The question is always what do we have the power to do. Think power. God is acting in the world constantly. He led Russia out of communism and into a renewal of its role as an Orthodox Christian empire, the new seat of Christendom revived.

We live in a secular, fascist oligarchy. So political action short of armed revolution is probably futile (see the red tsunami). Yet it matters what type of man you carry yourself and that is the only field upon which we can readily fight at the moment.

I’m not a big proponent of Andrew Tate, but a lot of what he says resonates with me – just not the way he says it, beating you over the head with it. But he’s young and doesn’t understand. They say he just converted to Islam. That won’t last if it’s true. He’s too wild. But I’ve been saying the same things about rejecting the feminist matriarchy, even the weakening of Orthodoxy in modernism and excessive asceticism. Often, Muslims are stronger more masculine men than Christians and I’m sure he senses that. That falls on the betas in the Church and among the heterodox.

For what it’s worth, I will probably vote for the most hard right candidate in any race and let God worry about the restoration of election integrity if there is to be any. Other than staying armed, making money and limiting our associations to the decent remnant, there’s not much to do but live as men and pray that God destroys the feminist matriarchy by any means necessary. And God helps those who help themselves.

      A trenchant analysis.

One of the good things about the fraud of 2020 and 2022, is that now even Normies are aware that we live in an Oligarchy which rigs elections. It is almost my fervent belief that the Oligarchy and their minions are not as comfortable or powerful as we make them out to be. There have been many unforced errors committed by the Deep State, mainly because Trump upended their program by winning in 2016. He so scrambled their brains that they have gone into overdrive to turn back the clock 20 years when they were their strongest.

  13. Charles Curtis says

Well, Taylor Marshall has done the deep dive on the history of the goat head mirror. It was apparently installed in 1946 by President, and 33rd degree mason, Harry Truman.

    https://taylormarshall.com/2022/12/896-president-put-baphomet-goat-head-white-house-podcast.html

This is the conundrum we, as American Christians, are in: Our Constitution and elite are ostensibly committed to radical secularism. But secularism is philosophically, anthropologically speaking essentially nihilism, actually functioning as a thin screen cloaking the true theological ethos of our elite, luciferian gnosticism.

I don’t think there is in human terms any potential political resolution to this diabolical conundrum we are in. The only possible solution has to be by way of grace, through the power of Christ at the behest of the Father, in the manifest action of the Holy Spirit. May we as his disciples be his agents, then. May we be consumed with faith and hope, testifying to his power, acquitting ourselves as servants of his mercy, witnesses to his justice, fervent ministers of his love.

By way of divine humility we will triumph over the pride of these luciferian occultists. We cannot trust in the princes of men, but we can trust in Christ Jesus, Our Lord. He has never failed us, and never will.

  14. Victor Davis Hanson had a column recently that demonstrates the magnitude of the abject corruption in which America is immersed. I do not link it because I think it needs to be read and digested, but rather because if one casually looks over the items listed as “10 Steps to Save America”, you might get the impression, as I do, that the odds of “saving America” are heavily weighted against any such thing happening.

So much so, in fact, that recently I have given up hope on the prospect of any national renewal but have abandoned the whole project and instead adopted the mantra, “burn, baby, burn”, since our elites are determined to run it into the ground. When the party that firmly controls the levers of power is as insane as the Democrat/Uniparty has become, yet is still resolutely committed to maintaining its hold on power by any means necessary, then you have a situation.

    Really, it’s just a matter of time . . .

The international picture, on the other hand, looks much more promising.

  15. Mark E. Fisus says

Gail, my sister in Christ, please take a breath, yes, too sensitive.

The animal on the mirror depicts something closer to a canid (eyes in front), such as a wolf, than an ungulate (eyes on side), such as a goat.

Also, consider that after a century or so of official White House Christmases, it’s hard to come up with something original. Mrs. Trump did the famous blood-red Christmas in 2018 which elicited much the same shock, just from other people. It would appear that politics has permeated our public life to the extent that it affects how one views the aesthetics of the White House Christmas decorations.

    • Gail Sheppard says

I’m not out of breath. It was a rhetorical question. And this was not about the Bidens. I think I may have even said that this symbolism would probably be beyond Jill. No, these “chrismasy” things came from the outside. Like Disney, they slipped in some subliminal messages. They even did it in the photographs.

Back in the day, some of our best programmers would slip these same teeny, tiny images into the code (maybe they still do). It was like a signature for them.

The red trees aren’t my thing but I didn’t cringe when I saw them like I did when I saw the dog mask or the tree with a burning briar at the bottom.
