Seriously, folks, somebody needs to get a hold of who is ever running the public relations department at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and tell them how the cow ate the cabbage.
Case in point: following Archbishop Elpidophoros Lambrianides’ disastrous march with the the Black Lives Matter a few weeks ago, the blow-back was enormous. So much so that the comments section on the archbishop’s twitter feed was shut down.
In an effort to minimize the damage, the archbishop doubled down on the reasons why he did it in the first place. According to this article (which was published by our friends at orthochristian.com (https://orthochristian.com/132099.html), he used victimology-speak because “as a Greek” he “understands” what it’s like to be a “victim”.
And for good measure, he stated that his mentor, Patriarch Bartholomew, would approve. Thanks to his inspiration, Elipdophoros didn’t need his blessing as such and so he decided at the spur of the moment to take part in the march with nary a thought in the world.
Since his initial, disastrous stroll with the BLMers, the excrement continues to hit the fan in regards to this odious organization. It’s now obvious to anybody with two active neurons that BLM is nothing but a giant racket. It’s gotten so big, so fast, that it makes Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson look like small-town grifters trying to hustle a game of jacks. Worse, the Department of Justice is actually looking at classifying it as a domestic terrorist organization –for very good reason.
It’s so obvious now that even ordinary African-Americans are waking up to this fact: hundreds of American corporations have funneled close to half-a-billion dollars to these jokers, all within the space of four weeks. Nice work if you can get it.
At any rate, it is terroristic by all indications. In addition to the hundreds of millions of dollars in damage that has been inflicted on dozens of American cities by these miscreants, they have also destroyed government property; not just statues but police precincts as well. Entire black neighborhoods will never be rebuilt thanks to these barbarians.
And now they’ve gone the full iconoclast. One of their luminaries, Shaun King, a pretend black man (hence his derisive nicknames “Talcum X” and “Martin Luther Cream”), has teamed up with BLM to instigate the tearing down of all Christian iconography which depicts Jesus Christ and the Theotokos as “white Europeans”. He not only wants statues of Christ taken down but stained-glass windows destroyed, as well.
Clearly, neither Lambrianides nor his interviewer are aware of these incidents. At least I hope they aren’t aware. Hence, my request that they immediately go to the Archons and ask for the funds necessary to hire a good public relations firm which can help them navigate these tricky waters. Otherwise, he’s probably going to have another photo-op down the road with these iconoclasts as they rampage through his cathedral.
Brethren and Sistren, these people are demon-possessed and they ain’t stopping. A lot of you liberals laughed two years ago when President Trump said that now they are taking down Confederate statues but in a few years they will start taking down statues of Washington All the “smart set” laughed at Orange Hitler. (As far as I’m concerned, Trump is either a time-traveler or a prophet. It’s one or the other.)
Folks, we are way past that now aren’t we? Jefferson, Washington, Grant, Union war veterans, even abolitionists are all coming down in the greatest spate of vandalism since the Gaiseric visited Rome back in A.D. 455. Get it through your heads once and for all: these demons hate Jesus, His Blessed Mother and everything about Christian civilization.
In the meantime, Shay Mikalonis, a Las Vegas policeman (who is a Greek Orthodox Christian), is lying in an intensive care ward, paralyzed from the neck down. It is a public letter by a respected black notable to BLM asking them to form an independent political party. The more attention it gets, the better. Some blacks are beginning to see the writing on the wall.

I feel you. It is a bad idea to invest everything in Trump or any political leader. I have been cheerleading for Trump to some extent here, sometimes touting stuff just for effect. However, though I believe that both Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin have been raised up by God to meet this moment, we must bear in mind that God also gives us free will and holds us to the consequences, as often as not.
It is entirely possible that the American people will slap away the helping hand that the Lord is offering them through Trump. He seems somewhat analogous to the Persian King Cyrus to me. I suspect that ordinary Americans even over to the center left can see through what’s been happening.
Whatever they think about Trump, I don’t think America trusts the Democrat leadership anymore given all the hoaxes, hyperbole, bs and outright lies.

Respectfully, I have to disagree. People are bored. That’s about the size of it. It’s summer. The temperatures are hot. Not so much drama as in previous weeks. We’re leading up to the 4th. Bored.
And bored is negative and not good for the incumbent.
We are in the calm before the storms hit. Trump is a reality TV star. He knows how to rile it up. He’s holding back to let everyone know that he’s doing this for America, he’s the one who’s going to lead on his terms.
And when he unleashes it will be glorious. He’s not a cherry. He hasn’t come this far for naught. It will be a re-election he can brag about.
You see, and this is not apparent from his demeanor as a Bronx hustler, he is smarter than his enemies. He had them figured out about three months into his presidency. A quick note–I know a lot of Greek publications have been saying he’s Greek and goes to the GOA parish in Las Vegas, but he is not Greek, he is Lithuanian by the account of a Lithuanian society who says the name is Lithuanian. Furthermore, the priest of the parish in question, Fr Seraphim Ramos, who I have known personally and is the picture of personal integrity, stated respectfully on social media that neither he nor the previous priest had any knowledge of the officer or his family going to the parish. You perhaps believe that your bishops are not strong enough in defending your faith, take it easy, our Catholic bishops have as their mission to destroy our faith and they are succeding.
