The longer I live, the more convinced I am that the United States is governed by a hostile elite who are only in it for themselves. Once they’re done plundering this country, they’ll go somewhere else and work their magic. Perhaps “traitors” is too strong a word for such people –at the present. But there can no longer be any doubt that the Border Crisis to our south will make us a Third World nation in due time. Don’t believe me? Then heed the words of General John Kelly (USMC), who recently committed thoughtcrime. In other words, he actually spoke the truth. I’m sure he will be punished. Still, I’m glad he said it.
Besides the invited invasion of illegal aliens, there is another crime being committed: one of omission. And that is that the Mainstream Media has studiously ignored Kelly’s warning. Why? I wonder. Is it because they didn’t hear about it? Or is it because the Hostile Elite couldn’t get to him in time and shut him up? At this point they may think that by ignoring him, his warning will fall into some memory hole. No matter. There will come a time however when more will stand up and speak the truth.
The question is will it be too late?
Breaking a trend of abysmally PC military leadership, the head of U.S. Southern Command recently dropped a bomb on the open borders crowd. Border security is now an “existential” threat to the country, according to the commander of U.S. Southern Command, Marine Corps Gen. John F. Kelly. Not surprisingly, the Main Stream Media has avoided Kelly’s comments. As of this writing, only one local CBS station has reported the story. This is particularly shocking because Kelly was a subject of a long Washington Post profile after his son, a Marine lieutenant, was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2010. [Lt. Gen. Southern Command has responsibility for South America and Central America. Gen. Kelly pointed out what should be the obvious correlation between our porous southern border and national security:
In comparison to other global threats, the near collapse of societies in the hemisphere with the associated drug and [undocumented immigrant] flow are frequently viewed to be of low importance… Many argue these threats are not existential and do not challenge our national security. I disagree.
Gen. Kelly surely is not alone among military officers, past and present, who could offer insight into the border fiasco. But they would have to find time away from the American military’s jihad against gender inequality and sexual assault, in order to uphold their oath to the constitution to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
That oath is clearly nagging at patriotic officers who see our sovereignty betrayed, and our territorial integrity violated with near impunity. Barack Obama has gradually reshaped the military leadership into, as Nicholas Stix writes, “a politicized, diverse officer corps.” But there are a few leaders left who believe in fighting for the nation – not a modern day Camp of the Saints in the Rio Grande Valley, not a multicultural contingent of globalism, but an actual nation.

The Obama Administration is just a few more exposes away from complete meltdown on the immigration issue. From escorting diseased illegal aliens around the country, to having military bases used to warehouse the unwelcome illegals, the Border Patrol and military are bearing the brunt of this unopposed invasion. The American public needs to know about the Nanny State degradation that our Border Patrol and military are forced to take part in.
For example, the officers and enlisted men at Lackland Air Force Base and Fort Sill, Oklahoma no doubt have something to say about the illegal aliens sheltered on military bases at taxpayer expense. They should report what they are seeing to the independent, non-Main Stream, media. (Email VDARE.com].
Of course, the prospect of an “anti-racism” witch-hunt will deter many from speaking out. Time will tell if Gen. Kelly is to be punished for his surge of common sense.
But Gen. Kelly’s remarks are a reminder that immigration patriots have a compelling argument that would have a receptive audience: we should protect our own borders—rather than using American servicemen to protect other countries that don’t want, need or deserve our help.
Americans are looking a bit closer to home these days. Immigration patriots should drive home the security theme.
One thing that immigration patriots should emphasize more: the need to place U.S. troops, armed and with the power to detain, on the Mexican border. This was something recognized by the late Sam Francis way back in 2002.
Amnesty and protecting our borders are two different issues, but they`re not unrelated. By putting troops on the border, the president would not only halt the invasion but also tell the Mexican government that encourages it to stay within its own borders and mind its own business.
With [then] President Fox brazenly threatening to use his own population as a political blackjack to force his wishes on this country, it`s well past time for our government to tell him so.
As soon as the alien hordes realize they will not be allowed in, they will stop coming. An armed soldier would send a stronger message than a barely-armed Border Patrol agent. There would be far fewer such accidents on the border if armed Americans, with the full force and prestige of the military, stood guard at our border.
Border security is no longer an administrative detail. Border security is a national security issue of the first order. There are more Gen. Kellys out there who are ready to serve and defend this nation in the most immediate and practical way possible.
But right now the Obama Regime is undercutting them by essentially inviting an invasion. As Kelly pointed out in his DefenseOne interview, the invaders are taking their cue from the U.S. government:
We should remember that our friends and allies are not the only ones watching our actions closely. … And in the meantime, drug traffickers, criminal networks, and other actors, unburdened by budget cuts, cancelled activities, and employee furloughs, will have the opportunity to exploit the partnership vacuum left by reduced U.S. military engagement.
Kelly is on record, for all who take notice, saying that an open border lets everyone and everything through. There is, in his words,
an incredibly efficient network along which anything – hundreds of tons of drugs, people, terrorists, potentially weapons of mass destruction or children – can travel, so long as they can pay the fare. It will take many patriots like Gen. Kelly coming forward before our lying Main Stream Media and our craven politicians acquire a sense of urgency about the border problem.
But why can’t our GOP politicians highlight these security concerns? They’ve proven adept at ginning up support for all manner of foreign meddling. They shouldn’t have any problem tackling the very real issue of an existential threat to the U.S.
The main stream media has lost all credibility as objective journalists. Indeed, the only media outlet outside the Internet that can even begin to call itself a news outlet is Fox News. That said, there are some GOP politicians who are taking this situation seriously, chief among them Governor Rick Perry and Senator Ted Cruz from Texas, with Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona not too far behind.

I think it is because democracy has run its course and become kleptocracy. GOP politicians are not excepted. How many politicians leave office without becoming wealthy? This is, of course, why the founding fathers were not to keen on unfettered democracy.
Well, Rick Perry supported NAFTA which helped which brought in about 1 million illegal immigrants and about 500,000 have increase under governorship to do construction work and restaurant work. About 2 years ago he supported a guest worker program to bring in low and high skilled labors but let’s of the Tea Party opposed his scheme. NAFTA destroyed the Mexican farmers who couldn’t come here. He is very free trade, he opposed a bill where the Texas government would only deal with contractors that manufacturers things in the US George never mentions that outside of Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul most Republicans supported both NAFTA and CAFTA the chief sources for people coming here to looked for worked. Also, Ron Paul whileI like him on some issues on trade or some military issues is heavily involved in the John Birch Society since he spoke at their 50th Anniversary.
By GPS and road signs I am 13.5 miles from the International Border at San Ysidro, CA/Tijuana, Mexico and with the exception of needing a US Passport to travel back and forth across the border, everything remains the same.
3 miles from my house, at the closest Home Depot, beginning at 6:00 am, 6-7-days a week, independent contractors for gardening, sheetrock, tile, construction, roofing, you name it, pull up in the far corner of the parking lot in their pick-up trucks for illegal workers. All over the county at similar locations, every morning. Sometimes people complain – especially when school is open, men gathered next to a gas station – and the police come and ask them to gather “somewhere else.” And notice, it’s the police, not La Migra, INS. The community and the INS knows better than to get involved! Besides professionals, you see average people negotiating with workers for yard work, putting up a new fence, clearing brush, etc. Then check out the supposed comedy A Day Without a Mexican. The assimilation of illegal immigrants into the life of the American Southwest is endemic. For purposes of healthcare and the education of children in California there is already a “Don’t Ask” rule that overburdens the state and county systems, in many areas, to near bankruptcy. This is hardly an “Obama” issue in that it has existed, uninterrupted and expanding for decades. And without immigration reform, it will continue to be the burden of the southwest.

I notice one person using a number instead of a name in his ‘courageous” opposition to “leftism” belongs to the group who are in denial about what the Supreme Court has done to help the Rich White American Legals BUY congress, and prefer to say that the left is destroying everything near and dear to White Americans!

Mostly just leftists in LA! All I keep hearing about are a bunch of miscreants rioting in Ferguson, MO. People are being systematically exterminated in Syria, an American journalist was just beheaded by ISIS, and the media are preoccupied with a delinquent jerk that probably should never have existed in the first place.
Getting back to whites, L.A., and what I’ve written above, I don’t recall much uproar in Orange County when a number of Hispanic cops, most likely of Mexican extraction, pummeled and killed a white vagrant in Fullerton a couple of years ago. They got off scot-free.
To refer to “a delinquent jerk that probably should not have existed in the first place” is to place one’s own passions before God’s holy will. “Johann” is such a wonderful example of whiteness!
In no sense, too, are the American media ignoring the atrocities in Syria or the beheading of an American journalist; in fact, Johann Sebastian knows of these events solely from the American media. And if he thinks there has been no uproar about the police killing in Orange County, he must live in Vancouver or Fairbanks. Even the local CBS news station here more than adequately covered the grief of the father of the victim. If Johann Sebastian’s creativity turns to fiction, rather than music, he should change his alias from Johann Sebastian to, oh, Henry Wadsworth, or George Bernard, or, even more appropriately, Harriet Beecher.

It already is too late. I pity those who are just now waking up to the fact that the hard Left’s takeover of our country is a fait accompli. 2008 was not an election; it was a coup. Unfortunately, most Americans, concerned with their bread and circuses, failed to notice. I especially fault the morons—yes, morons—who failed to use their last relatively free vote to stop Obama in 2012. No, you don’t get a chance at a better candidate later; you blew it.
The so-called “border crisis” is really no ‘crisis’ at all, lacking the defining element of surprise, and having been planned months ago as evidenced by the government’s RFI for “Escort Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children” that appeared on FedBizOpps.gov on Jan. 29, 2014.
Some crisis. Of course I feel sorry for its innocent victims. But I also mourn for myself and my family. And other Christians.
Because these ‘unaccompanied alien children’—a great proportion of whom, if you have looked at the photos, are actually voting-age or near-voting-age adults—are never likely to be forced to leave the country and now get to live on the taxpayer dime forever, the Left is assured of an endless supply of voters eager to vote themselves free stuff. (It appears bribery is an effective political philosophy, as blackmail is an effective business model.) The damage has already been done.
It only gets quantitatively worse from now on, but the goal has been largely attained: America is now a one-party country—if not immediately, then very shortly. That’s why Obama was literally laughing in Rick Perry’s face when they met; he couldn’t control his glee.
I suspect the Left has many more tricks up its voluminous sleeve, tricks it will reveal between now and the technical ‘end’ of Obama’s administration in order to seal their win, for which they have already planned in their mysterious and seemingly irrational acquisition of weapons, hollow-point ammo and bullet-proof vests for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Social Security Administration, etc. The Left has been waiting to seize power for years, and they aren’t turning over the government any time soon.
The stomach-churning reality is that if you are not now a leftist in America, you no longer have a vote.
Do you honestly believe that any countervailing voice—for the sanctity of human life, for the Constitution, for religious liberty, the rule of law, the free market of ideas, Christianity, personal responsibility, objective truth—will ever again be sounded in any meaningful way in the public sphere?
In the future, opposition parties will be suffered to exist only as they lend an air of legitimacy to the regime. They will have little chance of winning important office, or will effectively be Socialist Democrat party apparatchiks—much as they are already.
From now on, America’s elections will be exactly like those in Chicago have been for decades: voters will have a choice at the ballot box—a choice of Leftists. It’ll be just like the old Soviet Union. It already is.

You know, it used to be that certain groups like the white working class were reliable Democratic voters. Irish-Americans voted Democrat in droves. But guess what? Times change, and the white working class is now reliably Republican. If the Republican Party plays its cards right, some Hispanics and African-Americans and Asian Americans might vote Republican in the future. Demography is NOT destiny and we are not doomed to become like the old USSR because a bunch of brown-skinned children came through our border.
I agree with you about the militarization of government agencies – especially local police, as we have seen in Ferguson, MO – and the ever-expanding surveillance state, but that did not begin in 2008.
Your NOAA citation is based on a clerical error, which named the wrong agency. NOAA has about 100 officers protecting maritime resources from abuse. They protect 85,000 miles of shoreline and more than 3 million square miles of US oceans.
Each officer is required to keep 200 bullets on hand and 500 are used annually for training.
