In Memoriam…

Today is Veteran’s Day (formerly known as Armistice Day). It was on this the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, on the eleventh hour that a truce was struck between the Allied and Axis Powers in 1918 thereby ending the Great War. In the intervening years, this day has come to celebrate the accomplishments of veterans in all our Armed Services who served in all of America’s wars.

Let us pause for reflection on the nature of war in all its horror and remember those who have borne the wounds of battle and have paid the ultimate sacrifice. May their memories be eternal.

  1. Thank you to all of our veterans, both past and present, and their families for all the sacrifices they make for us. I wish my father was here today to thank him.

    • You’re welcome!
