I Guess We’re All Terrorists Now

Well, they up and did it.  According to the Department of “in”Justice’s new guidelines of what includes terrorists, we can now add pro-choice activists, Antifa, BLM, and so on.

Don’t believe me?  Then take a gander at the new guidelines for yourselves:

Now, I’m of two minds on this.  It’s possible that the minions and flunkies who work in the bureaucracy aren’t that smart.  They simply got a hold of some memos from the higher-ups and used a strict interpretation of what constitutes “antigovernmental activities” and went all fundamentalist as to the definitions.  They probably thought that these regulations would entrap all right-wingers, Trump supporters, and other assorted gun-nuts, never thinking that these definitions would include all of the left-wing groups out there.  At least you could say that they were consistent.  Stupid but consistent.

Or, they’re not stupid.  They knew perfectly well what they were doing.

This brings us to the second option.  And that is that the Biden maladministration is actually going to go the full totalitarian.  Now that they’ve been rigged into place, they can go after the people that put them there because they’re no longer useful.

If that means that they’ll have to throw BLM under the bus at some point, that’s a small price to pay if that’s what it takes for going after right-wing groups.

Now I realize that there’s a third option.  Namely that this is a smokescreen, a distraction if you will, in order to fool Republicans into thinking that they’re going to be fair in the application of “anti-terrorist” statutes.  I for one, am quite sure that the enforcement of these guidelines is going to be selective in their initial application.  That is to say, they will only enforce them in going after those on the Right.

The problem with this is that once bureaucratic protocols are put into place, they tend to take on a life of their own.  Of course, those of us on the Right are the ones who are going to be caught in the cross-hairs of the Leviathan state, no doubt about it.  At first.  But there is also no doubt in my mind that eventually, they will find their way to train their sights on the Left.  Or parts of the Left that are no longer useful.

It always happens.  Especially in totalitarian states.

We saw this in the Directory, which tried to govern Revolutionary France.  We also saw this in the Third Reich, when Hitler had to suppress the Sturmabteilung, the Brown Shirts which put him into power.  We also saw this in the Soviet Union, during Stalin’s purges of the Trotskyites.

And we also saw it during Mao’s Cultural Revolution, when he unleashed anarchic mobs on supposed “toadies”, “running dogs” and other alleged “counter-revolutionaries”.   Essentially, what Mao did was rule by anarcho-tyranny, in which anybody with any grievance against anybody else, in particular, would name that person as an “enemy of the Revolution”.  Husbands turned on wives, children turned on parents, students turned on teachers, and so on.  (Mao actually turned on his wife, calling her one of the “Gang of Four”.)

If the historical pattern repeats itself, then the selective enforcement against Right activists will eventually gobble up those on the Left.  We’re already seeing that in soft form, in which those on the Left are going after other Leftists who are not “woke” enough.

This is mostly happening on the cultural front.  We saw this with the #metoo movement when the senatorial candidacy of Roy Moore was derailed in 2018.  In the immediate aftermath, literally, dozens of Democrat politicos and eminences likewise had their careers destroyed.  Imagine the irony that Al Franken, Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, and Charlie Rose felt when they were all thrown under the bus.

Once the #metoo movement got out of hand, however, it was cast to the side.  Thus, credible accusations of (then candidate) Joe Biden and Governor Andrew Cuomo, were quietly forgotten.  And principled activists against sexual aggression –such as Rose McGowan–were ignored.  Her career is over.  Why?  Because she’s no longer useful.

That’s how these things work.

There is a logical reason for this.  Because you see, utopian ideologies are unsustainable.  Let’s take the BLM ideology, the insane cause du jour.  Now, as anybody who has two active brain cells knows, this idiotic, ugly, and racialist ideology, has no bearing on reality.  Like Mao’s Cultural Revolution, it cannot uphold a national culture in any way.  If left to its own devices, it will cause our nation to implode on itself because of its inherent contradictions.

So, while I do not underestimate the stupidity of the bureaucracy and the DOJ’s new rulings (option #1), I also can see that cooler (i.e. more totalitarian) heads are going to prevail in the long run.  Option #2 has provided cover for the State to impose its iron fist should things get out of hand on the Left.

And they will.  You know why?  All of a sudden, many on the Antifa Left are starting to see the beauty of the Second Amendment.  We’ve already seen the Left as a whole take up the cause of Nullification in all its John Calhoun-Esque glory when it came to so-called Sanctuary Cities during the previous Administration.

Pot, meet kettle.  Goose, meet gander.  You get the point.  Now many Red States are declaring themselves 2A sanctuaries.  Texas is going to complete The Wall.  Governor DeSantis of Florida is sending his state’s National Guard to help Texas protect the border.  And Missouri is forbidding any city or county from aiding the Federal government in enforcing any Federal gun laws whatsoever.

For a wonderful summation, please take the time to watch this latest podcast from Tim Poole and friends.

In the meantime, buckle your seat belts:  it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

  1. Lessons from history. First, the Patriot Act passed after 9/11. This broadened the scope of domestic anti-terrorism activities. It has been used and misused by both parties since.

Second, the Russian Federation’s approach toward religious tolerance. Select a short list of traditional Russian religions: Orthodoxy, Judaism, Buddhism and Islam. Then outlaw everything else and issue permits as you see fit.

Under Biden, this will likely be used against conservative groups. However, it will be there when Republicans return to power (assuming election reform proceeds).

There is a sense in which this is a necessary evolution given the political situation we face. “In the end, there can be only one.”, in the immortal words repeated in The Highlander original movie. We have come to the point where the competing forces, the DNC and MAGA, each realize that they have no choice but to put the other side out of business permanently. They can no longer share power because the gentleman’s agreement that they would not try to seize exclusive power has been shredded and burned.

Really, this is going to end with either a conservative authoritarian government (I say “authoritarian” and not “totalitarian” because the Right does not elevate the state to the level of a god like the Left does) or a liberal totalitarian state. We are witnessing the death of the two party system. If the fix holds, the Left wins. If the fix is exposed undeniably, the Right wins. In either case, the other party will be excluded from sharing power. We should not expect this to be pretty or Marquis of Queensbury, regardless of which side makes the coup de grace.

And this will be a good thing if the Right prevails. It is obvious that the Left/Liberals have lost their minds. Feminism, race baiting, class warfare and LGBT have left them totally deranged. It’s unisex bathrooms, reverse racism, trannies in women’s sports and sex changes for children.

Completely, hopelessly deranged. The consul is a horse.

So one party must recede. Let us pray to God it is the Democrats. But let us use every tool available, including this new one forged by the Biden regime, to put them down when the time comes.

      Excellent analysis, Misha.

BTW, I just found out 15 minutes ago that Cocaine Mitch killed the “For the people act”, that monstrosity that would have permanently sealed a Democratic majority for decades (or until the Republic collapses, whichever comes first).

As they like to say in the Beltway, “Cocaine Mitch” plays for keeps. To paraphrase FDR, “he may be a swamp creature but he’s our swamp creature”. (Plus, I’m pleasantly surprised that the Republicans held firm, even RINOs, cucks and traitors (like Willard Mitt Romney).

      • Thank you, George,

Your article nails it well. There are all sorts of shades of Republicans now. The true RINOS were the Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski set. In addition now you have conservative Establishment Republicans like Mitch. Once they ruled the roost but are being displaced by the MAGA crowd. These ER’s often act like conservatives, just not Trumpistas. They’re Democrat enablers but they have enough of a sense of self preservation that they will fight for the Republican brand, just not for total victory.

They want the professional wrestling match between the sun Democrat Party and moon Republican Party to continue. They may want to replace the Dems as sun party, but they still want the two party system and think that Dems are salvageable and necessary. That’s why they play along with the Big Election Lie. They know the truth would destroy the Democrats and they can’t wrap their minds around a dominant party system where the Republicans are the sole game in town.

    • What election reform and why is it necessary?

      • What election reform…

Cancellation of all state voter ID laws.
All election rules and procedures made subject to the Federal DOJ.
Unlimited mail-in balloting, including those “received” two weeks after election day.
        Etc. Etc.

        …and why is it necessary?

To ensure chaos and complete unaccountability of all elections and the resultant permanent dominance of the Left.

        • I’ve been following presidential elections since the first Eisenhower-Stevenson go around and have yet to see any evidence of such widespread fraud to the tune of millions of votes across numerous states that is claimed to have been stolen the ’20 election. Such a notion goes against any reasonable line of thought. I’ve worked in mental health with seriously ill people for many years and I know delusion when I see it.
Also, please consider this: is it possible that the first term president who lost the election would have been elected in the first place if his immediate predecessor hadn’t been a highly educated, intelligent, eloquent black man? (also, of course, taking into account his opponent.
Please keep in mind that all of the above has nothing to do with conservative or liberal or progressive thinking or politics. It has everything to do with people and their personalities.

The true delusion is thinking it’s not possible. Those of us who are long in the tooth are often shocked by what’s possible today. One of us is going to wake up to a hard reality.

            • George Michalopulos says

Yannaro, I must agree with my bossina here. (That’s slang Greek for lady boss.) I am in my early 60s and I can honestly tell you that what I have seen in just the last 10 years is absolutely shocking. What would have been unthinkable before is now par for the course and worse, to think otherwise can get you into trouble.

We no longer live in America but Unamerica. I feel horrible for my Parkinson-suffering 87 year old father. When he came to America it was during its golden age. On top of being debilitated, he has to suffer to see America’s great cities turn into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. And the fact that his beloved Democrat Party is facilitating all these abominable acts is heartbreaking to him. Worse, he has five grandchildren, I know he’s wondering what kind of country lies in store for them.

Not that his homeland is any better. As I read today, a pregnant woman in Greece was gang-raped by Afpaks yesterday.

              • It might come as a surprise to some, but I am a rather conservative person who left the GOA 45 years ago because of where it was headed even then. And, no, I’m not a fan of Biden and his administration’s policies. It is not delusional to think it is not possible. I have certainly dealt with circumstances/situations that seemed beyond belief. But this is different. And the reason this is different is because of one man. Donald Trump is easily the most emotionally unstable man to sit in the oval office in modern American history, and quite possibly longer than that. What has happened is because of the delusional thinking of one man.
Donald trump has antisocial personality disorder which is mainly characterized by two things, the first of which is a distinct lack of empathy. “It is what it is” was his response when asked to remark that 250,000 people had died of COVID 19. Notice he didn’t dispute the number. The second characteristic is a history of pathological lying, the examples of which are in the thousands over his lifetime.
Donald Trump also has narcissistic personality disorder, indeed to the extent it can be characterized as malignant narcissism. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association lists 9 qualifiers which describe narcissistic personality disorder. Five of the 9 are needed to diagnose the disorder. Eight of the nine can be ascribed to Donald Trump. And, please, don’t anyone reference the Goldwater rule about not diagnosing some one you don’t deal with in person. As some one so famously said, when people show you who they are believe them. I have done, over the course of my career, more than 10,000 psychosocial evaluations of people with serious mental illness so I feel pretty comfortable making these statements.
PS…..anyone ever consider what would have happened if those folks looking for Mike Pence in the Capital building on 1/6 had actually apprehended him? If it got physical his secret service detail would have kept shooting until they ran out of ammunition.
Indeed, we are in troubled times but that doesn’t mean we can’t distinguish between reality and delusion.

                • Gail Sheppard says

One of us may be changing his mind. We shall see. 😉

“Yannaro,” how many of those evaluations were person-to-person, so to speak?

          • Let’s await the Maricopa County recount result.
That may indicate who is delusional and who is not.

          • Yannaro,

I think you are a bit naive. I come from the Upper South. Politics, almost by definition, is corruption. It is a function of fallen humanity. I’ve seen pickup trucks filled with liquor bottles backed up by voting stations. I’ve seen politicians go down for less money than a cheap wh*re during sting operations. I’ve seen local players call in the Feds against opponents who were buying votes and running drugs who had their own operations shut down as a result. One guy, a friend of mine’s brother, spent 19 out of a 22 month sentence at Club Fed as a result of calling in the Feds after someone else. That’s how dirty it is out here.

And it’s ubiquitous. You just don’t see it unless you’re plugged in and in a position to see it. I have no doubt that the stories are true that are coming out of these swing states about massive fraud. There is no other logical explanation for what happened. Trump won all the bellweather locations you would expect from the election victor. His rallies were massive, Biden/Harris was anemic at best. What happened in the swing states was statistically impossible. Republicans won all the down ballot races. There’s a great big hole where a Trump victory should be and the Dems are hiding shovels and acting like it’s an act of God.

Just on the last minute illegal rule changes alone he might have won. Arizona, Georgia and probably other states are going to do forensic audits that may give us the true numbers.

Once that genie is out of the bottle, you can’t put it back.

And it is a dangerous time to be an American, IMHO. We are in uncharted territory. In all likelihood, the audits will show tremendous, dispositive fraud. We have never faced this contingency before. In Kennedy/Nixon, Nixon knew he actually probably won but for the provable fraud but he elected not to go there to keep the peace. I remember seeing Tip O’Neil on PBS recounting fond memories of going up and down the eastern sea board handing out stacks of money.

Delusional is looking at the evidence and maintaining that Biden won. The Dems are betting enough Republicans will let it go in order to preserve the peace. I don’t think they’re going to be afforded that luxury. When the curtain is truly pulled back and everyone is confronted with what the Dems did, that is the most dangerous moment.

            Injured, cornered predator.

They only have three options: 1) go quietly into the night, or 2) seize power and impose a police state or 3) be dragged down biting, kicking and scratching but nonetheless disempowered.

I think they would prefer number 2; however, I’m not sure they have the prowess to achieve it. Most likely 3 will transpire. I see them as becoming increasingly delusional and untethered from reality, acting out at times, perhaps destructively, but in the end ineffectually. They’ve created this false Ideological Bubble and they’re willing to go down with it even when it would be clear to saner souls that the bubble has burst.

But I don’t often hear that there is no other truth but Jesus.

So, any belief, except Jesus, is delusion.

I have examined this slowly and with difficulty and it provokes compunction within me.

  2. Austin Martin says

I live in St Louis. “We” tend to ignore what comes down from Jeff City. Most people are unaware that there are beautiful mountains crafted by the hand of God just ten miles away.

What you’re describing always happens, that those who were useful in the revolution are no longer useful after it happens. The communist state does not need blue-haired obese bisexual women to create period art (Google it). These people are useful at burning buildings but make very poor salt miners. True believers tend to get angsty. To my understanding, every communist country outlawed homosexuality, because homosexuals are purely consumerist and will not sacrifice for the greater good.

Supposedly Emma Goldman found her way to the Soviet Union and was distraught that it wasn’t the equal utopia she thought it would be, and Lenin just laughed at her naivety.

Frankly, though, the revolution will not happen. The 20th century revolutions happened because there was a lot of old money to steal. At this point all that money has been stolen. There’s not much left to parasite off of. Either Russia or China will steamroll us, or the government will totally collapse, but they will not get their transhuman tech utopia.

What is the game plan? They hate white people and Christians, but beyond that, what are they trying to make? At least communism had a clearly defined end point. We have no industry and sent it all overseas. They want to kill the white majority, but it’s not clear what they will do with hoards of sub-verbal non-whites. What is the long term intention of importing millions of 60-IQ Africans (real statistic)? If it’s chaos for the sake of chaos, then what are they wanting to replace it with? Just more endless chaos?

And even this idea of a great reset, where will that money come from? Our manufacturing is dead. This idea of everyone living in a high rise and eating bug paste, who is going to pay for it, and how will they force millions of people off their land? They are quickly forcing all the useful people out of the military. How are they going to fight two or three major external wars at the same time as an internal war?

So the revolution will not happen.

Presently corporations and billionaires are buying up as much real estate as possible, including new homes. This is frankly worrisome. I have long thought about when the older generation dies how that will affect the housing market and if these will suddenly become very cheap. But what could every well happen is that corporations will buy them at above market value and just rent them out.

Except that there won’t be corporations in 100 years. This will all hit a wall. “Owning land” only works insofar as the government agrees with the paper you own, and the government isn’t going to last much longer.

What happens when all the people who took the vaccine start dying or become seriously ill? Then who will enforce the ZOG?

Perhaps the new war of our times reaches beyond (but including) the culture wars, beyond (but including) economics. It’s no secret the globalists are pushing GMO food and GMO ‘therapy’ through the trans movement injecting a generation with body and mind-altering hormones. They’re written and spoken about transhumanism for decades, and suddenly we have 5G and these vaccines, new ‘operating systems’ and ‘software,’ as the manufacturers call them.

It’s really impossible to say whether the Russian vaccine is radically different from the Western ‘vaccines.’ Who, really knows? Perhaps there’s another invisible war going on, and the Russian vaccine is key to stabilizing Russian and her partners against whatever the globalists are releasing. Again, we don’t know.

But I look toward ‘credible’ sources – not news agencies, websites, not even books. I look to priests, nuns, monks and elders of the monasteries I’m deeply connected to, and if they can be right about Christ and His Church, and strive to live holy and sanctified lives, and succeed, I put my eggs in THEIR basket.

I said a long time ago, when I was baptized, and then ordained, THESE are the men – tethered to the patristic, sacramental, liturgical life of Holy Tradition – I want to be like, and whom God has chosen to lead me to Him.

Their homilies, their experiences, together with those of the elders of past, uniquely articulate a vision of great hope ahead – – – but not without a great ‘earthquake,’ a great ‘fire’ as it were – – because with every crucifixion embraced in Christ, a resurrection follows.

‘As per a ruling by the Lisbon court, only 0.9% of ‘verified cases’ died of COVID, numbering 152, and not 17,000 as claimed by the government. The ruling has proved that the government faked COVID-19 death statistics.

Following a citizen’s petition, a Lisbon court was forced to provide verified COVID-19 mortality data.

According to the ruling (read full judgment below), the number of verified COVID-19 deaths from January 2020 to April 2021 is only 152, not about 17,000 as claimed by government ministries.

All the “others” died for various reasons, although their PCR test was positive.

The data are from the Sistema de Informação dos Certificados de Óbito (Death Certificate Information System – SICO), the only such system in Portugal. …

Last year, a Portuguese appeals court has ruled that PCR tests are unreliable and that it is unlawful to quarantine people based solely on a PCR test.

The court stated, the test’s reliability depends on the number of cycles used and the viral load present. Citing Jaafar et al. 2020, the court concludes that

“if someone is tested by PCR as positive when a threshold of 35 cycles or higher is used (as is the rule in most laboratories in Europe and the US), the probability that said person is infected is less than 3%, and the probability that said result is a false positive is 97%.” … ‘

‘ Prominent neoconservatives and other hawks have set their sights on Turkey, announcing a new Washington-based group “in response to Turkey’s recent turn away from democracy and toward authoritarianism” on Thursday.

The Turkey Democracy Project states that its mission is to “inform a policy towards Turkey that opposes its destabilizing behavior, supports genuine democratic reform, and holds the forces of corruption and oppression within Turkey to account.”

“For the better part of the last century, Turkey was a reliable ally and a model in the region of liberal ideals and cultural freedom,” the group says on its website. “But in recent years, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has dramatically altered Turkey’s position in the international community and its status as a free and liberal democracy.”

Turkey has been a U.S. ally since the end of World War II, but its democratic record is spotty. The Turkish military has overthrown several democratically-elected governments, and parts of the country have been under on-and-off martial law since the Kurdish uprising of the 1980s.

  17. Spain’s Proposed ‘National Security Law’ Would
Allow Seizure Of Citizens’ Property During Health “Crisis”

‘ The prominent Spanish daily El País is reporting a hugely alarming scenario in which Spain’s central government is mulling a national mobilization and “security law” which would compel citizens to “temporarily” give up their rights in instances of future public health crises or emergencies such as happened with the coronavirus pandemic.

The law is currently at the level of a mere proposal but worrisomely it would elevate matters of public health to the level of ‘national security’ – as El País spells out based on a translation of its reporting: “Any person of legal age shall be obliged to carry out the ‘personal obligations’ required by the competent authorities, following the guidelines of the National Security Council, when a state of crisis is declared in Spain. In this case, all citizens without exception must comply with the orders and instructions issued by the authorities.”

This sounds vague enough to suggest literally nothing would be off-limits in terms of state authorities’ massive legally enshrined reach into people’s personal lives on the mere bases of a national crisis. And further there’s little or nothing which establishes a clear threshold for what legally would constitute such a crisis.

Throughout the pandemic we’ve already seen a number of places in Europe, also especially Canada, where government officials already essentially claim such far-reaching powers to force the citizenry to conform. Now Spain is looking to permanently enshrine this scenario into law.

Consider just how far this Orwellian proposal goes, as reported on in El País:

“In the event that a state of crisis is declared in Spain (‘situation of interest to National Security’ is the name given by law), the authorities may also proceed to the temporary requisition of all types of property, at the intervention or provisional occupation of those that are necessary or the suspension of all kinds of activities.” …

The draft law had first been unveiled in a Council of Ministers meeting on June 22, according to the report. There’s little doubt that should Spain actually adopt this ultra-controversial expansion of state powers for the sake of a vague “crisis” – other European countries will follow suit and perhaps already are.

We’ve seen some officials and political pundits actually push similar measures in the US and Britain… this looks to unfortunately be the “what’s next” waiting for us during the next “global health crisis” on the horizon – however it gets vaguely defined. ‘

Sir Edward Grey [1914]: “The lamps are going out all over
Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our life-time.”

Winston Churchill [1938]: “The stations of uncensored expression are closing down; the lights are going out; but there is still time for those to whom freedom and parliamentary government mean something to consult together.”

  18. Greeks grow teeth…

Thousands of Greeks are taking legal action
    against compulsory vaccinations!

‘ Hundreds of citizens flock to law firms in Athens to file mass lawsuits against the Greek state, both for the damage they suffered during the lockdown and the measures imposed to date, but mainly to file lawsuits on the issue of compulsory – extortion vaccination, advocated by the Mitsotakis government.

Among the arguments put forward by lawyers is the violation of the decision of the Council of Europe (end of January 2021), which decides that vaccination is not mandatory and is done only with consent.

Also, the arguments developed in group lawsuits include the impunity of infectious disease specialists and the exemption from liability in advance of compensation of all multinational companies, which produced all vaccines at the speed of light.

It should be noted that the Mitsotakis government has signed the European decision. Also in the lawsuits are formulated all the International Treaties that prohibit medical operations and vaccinations without consent. ‘

    It’s biteback time!

  19. Finnish Court Rules Sex With Children Is ‘Permitted’

‘ Finland’s Supreme Court has ruled that sex with children as young as 10 is not ‘rape’ if you come from a culture where sexual relations between adults and kids is ‘normal’.

In a case that has triggered international condemnation, the court rejected a request from the prosecution to appeal a three-year jail term for Muslim asylum seeker, Juusuf Muhamed Abbudin, who violently raped a 10-year-old girl when he arrived in Finland.

Rt.com reports: The man was convicted of aggravated sexual abuse, although the prosecution had sought a harsher sentence on charges of aggravated rape. However, the court left the original verdict unchanged.

The incident took place near the city of Tampere in southern Pirkanmaa region in autumn 2016. The man had sexual intercourse with a girl, who was 10-years old at the time, in the yard of a deserted apartment block. He also exchanged sexually charged messages with her.

Both Pirkanmaa District Court and the Appeal Court in the city of Turku convicted the asylum seeker of aggravated sexual abuse and handed him a three-year prison sentence in 2017. The courts didn’t recognize the incident as rape, saying the girl wasn’t forced into the sexual act or overcome by fear. The judges also ordered the man to pay the child €3,000 ($3,600). … ‘

  20. Journalists could face up to 14 years in prison for stories
embarrassing the Government under proposed changes to the Official Secrets Act
that would treat them like foreign SPIES

Change to law would remove defence for reporters handed leaked documents
Home Office says it would ‘undermine efforts to prevent damaging disclosures’
Maximum jail term for journalists could go from two to 14 years under proposal

‘ … Journalists could face prison sentences of up to 14 years for stories that embarrass the Government under plans to reform the Official Secrets Act.

Under a consultation run by Priti Patel’s Home Office, which closes later this week, reporters who handle leaked documents would not have a defence if charged under new laws designed to clamp down on foreign agents.

The 1989 act is being updated to take into account the impact of the internet age, especially in the area of speedy data transfer.

Human rights organisations and the Law Commission, which drew up the proposals, say there should be a ‘public interest defence’ included to prevent the prosecution of journalists who receive leaked documents.

But in a paper released for the consultation, the Home Office said such a move would ‘undermine our efforts to prevent damaging unauthorised disclosures, which would not be in the public interest’.

Critics suggested that if the rules were in place now it could have led to a prosecution of the journalists who revealed this month that Matt Hancock was breaking Covid rules by having an affair with his married aide, because it relied on leaked CCTV footage. … ‘

  21. Police Scotland double the number of officers
trained to deal with public disorder

‘ Police Scotland is doubling the number of its officers trained to handle disorder
as it gears up for this year’s world climate summit in Glasgow.

The national force a year and a quarter ago had around 1100 men and women
with the skills to deal with mass protests or disturbances.

Last night it confirmed that figure had now risen to 2100 with another
hundred officers to undergo training in coming weeks. … ‘

[UK] Food supply chain ‘on edge of failing’

‘ FOOD producers’ representatives have warned the supply chain is on the brink of collapse as shelves empty and firms brace for a future of Covid-closures and produce availability dictated by already decimated staffing levels.

The Brexit labour shortage backdrop created by Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s government means many businesses are not prepared to tackle the latest set-back in the fight against coronavirus.

The British Meat Processors’ Association said “food supply chains are right on the edge of failing”, and despite UK Environment Secretary George Eustice announcing some workers will be exempt from self-isolating if they’re pinged by the NHS app, businesses say they are still missing key details.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said on Friday that food supply chain workers would be among those critical roles to be exempted from self-isolation rules in Scotland.

“The latest feedback we’re getting from the front line is that the shortage of skills and workers for permanent positions is reaching a critically high level,” said Nick Allen, BMPA chief executive.

“We’ve heard reports of plants having between 10% and 16% vacancies even before absenteeism due to Covid is factored-in. On top of the underlying worker shortage, we’re also hearing from some members that between 5% and 10% of their workforce have been pinged by the app and asked to self-isolate.” … ‘

If you pay lots people to cower at home because someone else has had a positive PCR test,
then they will. Meanwhile the food supply chain will be driven to certain collapse
and the currency will be debauched and people’s savings will evaporate.
as hyper-inflation ravages what is left of the economy.
They will very likely need lots of policemen to protect them then…

  22. Given the continuing demonstrations in Europe regarding the lockdowns, it is clear that there are two attempted revolutions in progress. The status quo ante was liberal rule, progressives v. conservative liberals with the wind blowing toward the Left.

The Left got a big boost under Obama and the Right got a kickstart under Trump. This Covid-Lockdown thing is a Davos operation. They’re taking a CCP bioweapons test and turning it to political profit. It is a facet of the Great Reset and an attempt to implement soft totalitarian rule (hardening over time, of course). There is great popular resistance to this effort both in Europe and in America.

It is a bit like the Смута, the Russian Time of Troubles. No heir apparent after the last Rurikid prior to the ascent of the House of Romanov. Chaos, internal intrigue, lawlessness, False Dmitri’s, etc.; then finally a re-establishment of order. An interregnum of sorts.

The good news is that the Left appears to be weak, desperate and incapable of executing its schemes. They held the sun party in the former arrangement and it is logical that this is their swan song.

It is actually a bit surreal if you are in a solid red state since life appears to go on semi-normally [cut to Hank, Jr.] at the same time as we see widespread unrest, political repression, political prisoners in the Capitol, MSM and social media censorship – all Maoist/Stalinist type stuff. Yet there is quite a blowback and our tradition of free speech is not being successfully curtailed. It is as if they are making a show of it, but not actually trying to lock down the resistance at large.

They are going to great lengths to instill fear regarding the 1/6 event through persecution of anyone who was anywhere near the incident, nationwide. There was martial law in the Capitol, which was worth a thousand words. But the fact that it was likely an FBI operation, as was the Michigan/Whitmer “kidnapping” attempt, is becoming widespread knowledge.

Everybody paying attention knows there’s been a leftist coup. But the Left is so inefficient that the resistance is rampant and appears strong enough to prevail against them. If this is indeed the case – and appearances can be deceiving – this has all the earmarks of the Left’s last stand here in America. They appear to have that sick “going through the motions” air that Soviet leaders did toward the end – an awareness of probable doom coupled with political inertia: “The show must go on!”

Dueling revolutions, which one will take hold?

Which one controls the most territory?

You can steal an election, but unless you end electoral accountability completely eventually the unpopularity of your program will bite you at the ballot box. Stealing the election is not the same thing as stealing public opinion. In fact, there’s a backlash. Though attempting to normalize the steal is itself a form of psych-warfare, if you allow widespread expression of discontent and resistance and allow the word of the steal to spread relatively freely (which they do not seem to have the power or will to stop), then the blowback will sink public opinion further against you.

Former military intelligence analyst Seth Keshel estimates that Trump won on 11/3 by millions of votes nationally given all the data and info they could lay their hands on and analyze:

You can curtail dissemination of that type of information on the Left Coast and Northeast, but the rest of the country has access if they want it. Fox is in every bar and restaurant in flyover country. Newsmax and OANN are exploding with viewers.

The only question in my mind is whether it is all kabuki theater – professional wrestling.

Some critical mass of elites at the heights of the West may have come to the conclusion that Christian Nationalism is their best bet at civilizational progress and dominance. Having reached that conclusion, they would need to design some drama, some series of political developments, which results in CN ascendancy while avoiding widespread revolt and violence here and in Europe. So you create a faux battle between Left and Right, like the old Batman TV show, or like any WWF event. But you skew the momentum inexorably toward the Right so that it makes an entertaining and emotionally compelling drama, but the good guys win in the end.

Of course, it may not be Western Elites that have constructed it this way but rather God and the angels in heaven.

    Exciting time to be alive.
