From the Communication Office of the Assembly of Canonical Bishops

Dear Gail,

Thank you for your email and your willingness to help.  The Assembly of Bishops’ international humanitarian relief agency, International Orthodox Christian Charities (“IOCC”), is mobilizing direct relief on the ground. They have set a goal of $250,000 to provide immediate emergency relief.  Here are their direct posts, which the AoB will be sharing on our channels, as well:

Sharing information about IOCC’s effort will be the quickest and most direct way to respond. As the jurisdictions mobilize other efforts, we will share them with you as well.

Prayerfully,

Communications Office

  1. Thanks for getting this info Gail!

Also, for those who go to Antiochian parishes there will be a collection for the month of February that goes towards the earthquake:

Gail and I plan on visiting the Turkish Cultural Center here in Tulsa later today to see what we can do on behalf of the local Orthodox community.
