About the Speech in Tuscon…

Some rambling thoughts: As you may know, I’m not a fan of Obama, I’ll spare you the details. Having said that, I must confess that I found his speech rather apropos, not the exact speech I would give (I would have actually named the people who the Deranged Left named: Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Fox news, etc.) but as President, he rose to the occasion.

Random thought #2: I was pleased by biblical references and reading of Scripture by Big Sis and Eric the Unready. Not that I think these people actually believe any of it (maybe they do, I dunno), but because as they were preaching, I couldn’t help but think of the nihilist Left that hates Christianity but worships Obama. Idiots like Bill Maher. They must have been puking their guts out. I’d pay to see something like that btw. Words fail me when it comes to how much I disdain these cretins. Good, Obama keep on reading Scripture, you’re going to alienate your real base, the anti-theists who hate Christians. (We’re all a bunch of rednecks, don’t you know.)

Random thought #3: It’s amazing, Palin has put herself in the national spotlight again. Her speech on Facebook was brilliant. She appeared presidential. Nothing that she said was blameworthy or stupid or vacuous. It made sense. That’s why the Left was reduced to blaming her for using the term “blood libel.” It was a brilliant ruse on her (or her speechwriter’s part). Now we’re talking about blood libels and whether it’s ok to use metaphors. What idiots liberals are. Another tactical bonus: by releasing this speech on Facebook the day of the Memorial, she stepped all over the President’s time.

Random thought #4. The speech by the “medicine man” was a complete and utter waste of time. I can imagine real Indians cringing at his Rod McKuenesque/13 year old girl sentiments. Blech.
