Immunizing the Public Against Information

I remember several decades ago in high school reading George Orwell’s classic Nineteen Eight-Four.  I remember being disturbed that it might come true.  All-in-all, it was a depressing book.

Our English teacher explained that even though Eric Blair (Orwell’s real name) was a socialist, he had seen how communism actually worked and it wasn’t a pleasant sight.

Worse, he had witnessed the allied powers disseminate propaganda and disinformation, up to and including the rewriting of history.

Orwell wrote his book 3 years after the Second World War, and simply transposed the last two digits of the year 1948.  I don’t know if he thought that four decades later, his imagined dystopia would actually become a reality, or if he looked at all of the propaganda put out during WWII, and decided no one version of history could be trusted.

Perhaps Orwell knew his book was prophetic or maybe he was just reading the writing on the wall should we fail to heed the words of the Lord.

It’s not clear if he could actually see our present walls, covered with graffiti, saying, “Congratulations!  You’ve made it smack dab to the middle of an ancient Chinese curse.”

“Interesting times” crept up on us before we saw it coming, which made it all the more interesting as we sat around asking ourselves, “Exactly how did we get here?”

Orwell knew.

We live in a world where disinformation (and outright lying) is the soup du jour.  In fact, it is so common, that finding the truth is damn near impossible at this point.

But we keep trying.  Unfortunately, it is generally after the fact that we have our “aha moment,” but we’re getting better.

Finally, when you allow yourself to accept that the overall objective is to cull the population by 90%, everything seems to fall into place, doesn’t it?

And it’s not just our leaders yanking our chain.  It’s the entire complex of corporate media.  Rush Limbaugh called them “Obama’s stenographers” several years ago and he wasn’t wrong.

However, in the past, things were done with more finesse.  A tiny lie here and a flat-out lie there caused just enough dissonance to misdirect people without being too obvious.

Now, of course, the mask is off.   It matters not at all what we think so they’re pulling off the bandage with a yank.  This is what happens to you when you turn your back on a bunch of sadists.

Case in point, the new Ministry of Truth, AKA the Government Disinformation Board, was set up to ferret out what they call “domestic terrorists” who have the audacity of wanting to express our opinions.

BTW, when did expressing an opinion become a felony with jail time in a free country?

About the time it took to rewrite the Constitution

Free speech is just another “pandemic” in their minds.  With the Left, there can be no free and open exchange of ideas.  It’s way too dangerous (for them).  It ranks right up there with running with scissors.

They don’t know how to respond, either.  They always resort to name-calling and obfuscating.

If you believe COVID may have been bioengineered, you are a racist.  (Actually, you’re a racist no matter what you do.)  If you believed it was a natural flu-variant, you were a flat-earther.  Believe there are biowarfare labs in Ukraine?  A Putinbot.  Honked at the Freedom Convoy?  A Nazi.  –When your two-year-old discovers the word “no” it’s off to pre-school jail for them!  Gotta teach ’em early.

And what’s funny is they never thought we’d fight back.  Why?  Because they wouldn’t.  We scare them!  So much so, that they’ve employed AI to help them track us and analyze us.  These days, a single word will shut you down.  That’s why the governments feel the need to set up a bureau to combat “information.”  (Not “misinformation.”  But information.)

This line from a WHO article is too funny:  “Health experts in Germany are concerned that the country’s anti-vaccination movement may deter many people from getting immunized when a safe vaccine becomes available.”  Ya think?  https://www.who.int/news-room/feature-stories/detail/immunizing-the-public-against-misinformation

They don’t like the fact that we have so many tools, either.  They kick us off one platform and we find each other on another.  Rudimentary tools, to be sure, but they work just fine.  We don’t have humongous budgets to back us up.    We have integrity and it seems that still counts for something.   The fact that so many of us take protecting our rights very seriously has taken them totally off guard.

According to the WHO, there is now “too much” information out there and they don’t want you getting information from anyone but them.  From their POV this makes sense since it’s hard to repackage the “truth” once it’s out.  The truth has this shiny factor that can’t easily be tarnished.  Once you hear it, it’s hard to unhear it.

So they want to shut us up; some for good.  (You know what I mean.)

It’s a blatant violation of the First Amendment.  Someone once said when fascism came to America, it wouldn’t be with a jackboot but in a prepackaged, sanitized, progressive and/or juvenile, feel-good fashion.  (If someone never said it, I just did.)

And this is exactly what has happened.  Some creepy, supercalifragilistic woman popped into the government role of commissar of this newfangled bureau designed to set us straight.  Her name is Nina Jankowicz and she is fond of singing scary versions of show tunes and Mary Poppins songs.

One such song is called, “Who do I have to F#$% to be rich and famous?”  https://dailycaller.com/2022/04/29/famous-powerful-video-resurfaces-bidens-minister-truth-nina-jankowicz-singing/

Yeah, that happened.

Now, don’t get me wrong, the mockery that was heaped upon Commissar Jankowicz was immediate and widespread.  So much so that she was thrown under the bus.  Unfortunately for us, Michael Chertoff, a more serious –and thus more dangerous man as far as civil liberties are concerned–will replace her.  (He was the second head of Homeland Security.)  As for the government bureau in question, it was put “on hold.”  But don’t fool yourself, like the Terminator, “it vill be back.”

It has to; because you see, the Left can’t allow free speech.

Don’t believe me?  Then how did the Deep State get The New York Post –America’s oldest newspaper, founded by Alexander Hamilton himself–to quash the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop just one week before the election?  When any mention was made of it, we were assured that it was “Russian disinformation.”  Leaving aside the massive shenanigans about the 2020 election, does anybody think that an honest discussion about this wouldn’t have derailed Biden’s elevation to the Presidency?

So, in that vein, we can laugh at Commissar Jankowicz all we want, as we do at the cartoonish Army ads where we find a girl named Emma who had two moms.   (And we wonder why a Ukrainian army trained to NATO standards has spent eight years not being able to conquer the Donbas region.)

The Deep State can quash unflattering stories for their side but they are not above making mistakes and they are making a LOT of them; more and more every day.

Like they did with this bimbo.

And they can’t stop ordinary people from laughing –yet.  Come to think of it, even in the darkest days of Soviet repression, the Russian people learned to develop a dark sense of humor.  I suppose we should thank the Good Lord for small mercies.

Mr. & Mrs. M  (Just too delicious a subject not to share.)

All of the world governments including Vladimir Putin and Xi are in on this Depop conspiracy. Trump is controlled opposition, and even the Rouge “free speach” platforms are started and run by the elites. Any internet resistance that can be found on the regular web can not be trusted. One world Government has been secretly a reality since the end of World War One, and World War Two was a planed depop event.

    • Gail Sheppard says

Perfect. Just perfect. As long as we’re having to face the truth about some things: https://153news.net/watch_video.php?v=R45O3B8417KG

    • Nonsense. The way to erode resistance is to turn up the paranoia to 11 and project that “everybody is in on it” and that there is no agency in any opposition – pure Calvinistic determinism. That’s the perfect defeatism.

      • nicholas sandoukas says

I don’t believe in that heresy. And I don’t think we as Orthodox Christians are beat. The solution to all this is spiritual, not political. Until the faithful embrace that, GOD Himself will not alow any political resistance to succeed. He is smashing our Idol of trusting in princes and in sons of men.

  2. Orwell wrote his book 3 years after the Second World War, and simply transposed the last two digits of the year 1948.

Slight correction. Orwell wrote the book on his deathbed in 1949. The date 1984 was chosen to say that this could happen in as little as 35 years.

Also, if you want to disappoint your girlfriend, give her a book of George Orwell essays for Christmas. They hate that.

  3. The liberals were all about free speech up until they secured the social and cultural reins of power. Since then, it’s a no-no because free speech is an avenue of change and they like being in power. Now free speech is “disinformation”, a synonym for propaganda. It makes sense in their ideology. “Your truth”, “my truth” and so on. Truth is entirely subjective so it’s no crime to declare a monopoly, since it doesn’t really exist anyway.

It rose to the level of a serious problem during the years of Bush Derangement Syndrome and totally broke off the chain during the Trump era. They lied about him boldly, flagrantly and constantly. The biggest lie, of course, was “the most secure election in history”. Following that, DC was under martial law and occupied by the military for the new inauguration. The optics said it all. America had succumbed to a coup d’etat led by the Deep State and enabled by the press and the Uniparty.

So now we look at all the headlines and coverage regarding the war in the Ukraine as being a wall of lies, originating from the Deep State. They’re not even good lies, just a sheer volume of nonsense. Yet they can’t control matters outside of the West and the truth filters through here and there. And thank God for that. Putin’s Russia saved us from One World Government under Big Brother.

And so we have a chance to destroy the real Orwellian villains . . . finally.

What was that about Russia, big brother and one world government? Putin is an opportunistic politician who is in on the global transhumanist depop kabal. No real Orthodox Christian leader erects statues to Vladimir Lenin.

      • Gail Sheppard says

Putin would be pretty stupid to sign up with the Kabal and he doesn’t strike me as a stupid man.

Lenin is a part of Russian history. If you go to the USSR museum, you’ll see all sorts of interesting memorabilia.

We have statues for all sorts of colorful people in the Orthodox faith, as well. That doesn’t mean it’s indicative of who we are as a faith.

As far as statues are concerned, we’d be happy to get rid of this one! https://www.flickr.com/photos/jayhawk7/22964988679

I sure hope you’re not going to be one of those people who bash Putin at every opportunity because if it’s nonsense, I’ll have to defend him. I already look like a Russian sympathizer which I’m not. I am, however, fair. It’s wrong to indict a man for paying homage to his county’s colorful past.

If you really hate Russia, you’ll inadvertently hijack the blog, which is a problem for us. I really hope we can keep you so we can explore some of the other things your bright mind with bring to the table.

        • nicholas sandoukas says

Putin was part of the Kabal long before there was a Russian Federation. His involvement goes back to the days of the Soviet Union. As for the statue you propose removing, I say Huzzah! I am no fan of Black Bart. He is just as much a part of the Kabal as Putin is. Sadly politically, on this entire planet there is no side a good Christian can side with. That is not to say there aren’t good clerics, or even good Heads of synods. For instance may God grant many Years to Patriarch Ilia of Georgia. But EVERY church has agents of the Kabal in it. Franky Boy in Rome is a happy soldier in the Kabal. This isn’t to say that Putin hasn’t done measurably good things. He has. And that is what is insidious about this. He looks so good by comparison to the Western leaders, that people think He can’t possibly be on the West’s side. Yet we have seen this before. Hitler spent his last day in happy retirement in Argentina for his service to the Kabal. Global politics is pro wrestling. They give the appearance of a fight, but in the end, they are all in on what the outcome is. God will smash this one day, in His way, and on His timetable. But the Orthodox need to repent, and God is allowing this as a chastisement of us. As for having statues erected for historical purposes, why don’t the Germans erect statues to Hitler? There are other ways of learning history without glorifying in the public square demonic Tyrants. I am opposed to tearing down the confederate statues, but I’ll address that in an other post when I have time.

          • Anonymous II says

            Two things.

First, Hitler did not “spend his last day in happy retirement in Argentina for his service to the Kabal.”

Sure, there were plenty of opportunities for him to leave, many begged him to escape but Hitler was as determined and stubborn as they come. Understanding his character, and reviewing the records and files is important to learning our mistakes. We have as much proof as one can expect under those circumstances that Hitler remained and died in Berlin – – I’m happy to cite these sources, if you wish.

Secondly, your assumption on Putin is just that, another assumption.

          • Nicholas – over target. When the blog post about free speech recieves comment about how your free speech ought to be limited, it deeply reveals the state of the world (our passions). Maybe everyone has a different definiton of what free speech is, and that you ought to do it ‘somewhere’ else and not here.

I fail to read how your comment here is ‘anti-Russian’. Perhaps you have made other comments. For the responders/defenders here, though: Is Putin Russia? Is whoever is nominally in charge of Russia the same as Russia itself? Does speaking contra Putin mean condeming Russia? If so, best watch what is said about Biden or any other ‘world leader’.

          • Perhaps Putin was in the Cabal.
He was in the KGB, that’s for sure. But he’s no Communist now.

Perhaps he was a World Economic Forum Yong Global Leader.
Perhaps he believed in the program then.
Or perhaps the KGB/FSB sent him to find out what it was all about.

But his actions now reveal his complete opposition to globalism.
for which Klaus Schwab and George Soros excoriate his name.

Perhaps he was always (in his heart) an Orthodox Christian.
Or perhaps he was once an atheist; but if he was, he converted.
It’s not unheard of. Constantine the Great did it.

But who can search the heart of a man? Not me.
            All I can do is see the fruit of his labours;
and try to weigh if the harvest is good or bad.
In Putin’s case I think (so far) it is mostly good.

            • If every single diabolical agency, organization, country, and ideology want your head on a platter, I can only assume that you are the real deal. If both the LGBTQ lobby and the Church of Satan declare “slava Ukraini” then I can only assume that the military operation is justified. If every media outlet has declared you “the new Hitler” then I can only assume that you are the new thorn in their side.

Simplicity requires truth, otherwise lies create complication and a mountain of misinformation. The difference is in size. This is the litmus test.
Lies and misinformation require the widest and broadest dissemination by as many means as possible. It’s a shotgun approach, the more people that believe it give it the facade of “truthfulness”. Government marketing – Bernays style.
When the means of enabling people to communicate individually is shut down, the lies prevail. Yet, the truth pierces the lies like a brilliant sword. This is the difference.
The lies are buried under their own weight. The truth stands on its own.
The process for years, as witnessed in education, is to indoctrinate groupthink and destroy individuality. Thus, the redefinition of terms to suit the orchestrators. One person’s free speech is another’s slander, libel, defamation and treason – pot calling kettle black
In the process of providing credence to their platform, they have no choice but to obfuscate the real objective and are trapped by their own claptrap. If their platform and objectives were true, then no explanation would be necessary, and people would accept the premise without added complication.
If you want to drown out the truth, shout louder with more lies.
Sometimes only an ugly stick will work. Other times, one must spit on their hands, hoist the black flag and start slitting throats.

Don’t pay any attention to me. My pride and ego make me do and say stupid things.

    https://nypost.com/2022/05/28/city-tells-junkies-not-to-be-ashamed-to-get-high/

    ‘ They have no shame.

The city Health Department is urging junkies not to feel embarrassed that they get high off fentanyl, and even offering a step-by-step tutorial on how to use one of the deadliest and most addictive drugs on the planet.

In its “Let’s Talk Fentanyl” ad campaign the agency tells users they should feel empowered when they safely consume the drug — which became the leading cause of death among Americans ages 18 to 45 in 2020, according to one analysis.

“Don’t be ashamed you are using, be empowered that you are using safely,” a woman identified as Florence from Manhattan says in one of the ads that has appeared citywide on trains and buses. … ‘

  6. Here is an article on sudden deaths in young people
    in which the word ‘vaccine’ does not appear, anywhere;
though it does occur in the following comments…

What is SADS? Healthy young people dying
    from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome

    https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/health-problems/what-is-sads-healthy-young-people-dying-from-sudden-adult-death-syndrome/news-story/97a476dd99caaf638cd1c15baabbc5d4

‘ … Young people with a particular family history are being urged to get their hearts screened even if they are fit and healthy, as they could be at risk of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.

Sudden Adult Death Syndrome, or Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS), is an “umbrella term to describe unexpected deaths in young people”, usually under 40, when a post-mortem can find no obvious cause of death, according to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

While national figures are not available, Melbourne’s Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute is developing the country’s first SADS registry, which it hopes to eventually roll out across the country.

“In our registry, there are approximately 750 cases per year of people aged under 50 in Victoria suddenly having their heart stop (a cardiac arrest),” a spokeswoman said. “Of these, approximately 100 young people per year will have no cause found even after extensive investigations such as a full autopsy (the SADS phenomenon).”

Cardiologist and researcher Dr Elizabeth Paratz said Baker’s registry was the first in Australia and one of only a few in the world that combined ambulance, hospital and forensics information.

“(It allows you to see) people have had the cardiac arrest and no cause was found on the back end,” she said.

Dr Paratz said the lack of awareness around the issue was likely because “a lot of it takes place outside of traditional medical settings”.

“The majority of these SADS events, 90 per cent, occur outside the hospital – the person doesn’t make it – so it’s actually ambulance staff and forensics caring for the bulk of these patients,” she said.

“I think even doctors underestimate it. We only see the 10 per cent who survive and make it to hospital. We only see the tip of the iceberg ourselves.”

For family and friends of victims, SADS is a “very hard entity to grasp” because it’s a “diagnosis of nothing”.

“All you know is it wasn’t drugs, suicide, trauma or heart attack,” Dr Paratz said. “You’re still left wondering what it was.”

She stressed that the terms “heart attack” and “cardiac arrest” were often mixed up.

Heart attack refers to a blockage of the heart vessel, whereas cardiac arrest means the heart has stopped.

“If someone has a heart attack and you do an autopsy you might see a big clot, that’s a positive finding, but when someone’s had one of these SADS events, the heart is pristine,” she said. “It’s really hard to know what to do.”

Last month, the heartbroken mother of a young Irish advertising executive who died in her sleep urged parents to get their children screened for SADS if there was a family history of cardiac illness.

Catherine Keane, 31, was found dead by her flatmates last year.

“She was living with two friends in Rathmines in Dublin and they were all working from home so no one really paid attention when she didn’t come down for breakfast,” Margherita Cummins told the Irish Mirror.

“They sent her a text at 11.20am and when she didn’t reply, they checked her room and found she had passed. Her friend heard a noise in her room at 3.56am and believes now that is when she died.”

Ms Cummins said her daughter “went to the gym and walked 10,000 steps every day”.

“She used to ring me while out for a walk and just chat away for the duration,” she said.

“I take some comfort in that she went in her sleep and knew no pain and I’m grateful for that. I always worried about the kids driving in the car but never saw this coming. I never thought I’d ever lose a child in my life.”

In February, another mother opened up about the death of her teenage son from SADS in 2021.

Liam Doherty, 19, from Cranford, Ireland, died last April, leaving his family heartbroken.

“Nothing could have prepared us for what happened on that day of April 2 or what potentially lay ahead us,” his mother Adele Doherty wrote on a fundraising page for the Mater Hospital Foundation.

“This became our journey into a lot of uncharted waters, learning the depths of SADS, trying to understand and process it all.”

In another tragic case, a new bride was found dead by her mother-in-law in a UK tanning salon last month.

New Zealander Piata Tauwhare, 30, is believed to have collapsed shortly after starting an 11-minute tanning session at Lextan in South Wales.

She was suspected to have suffered SADS, collapsing to the ground in the upstanding tanning booth where she allegedly lay undiscovered for nearly two hours.

“Piata was the most wonderful, beautiful person in the world. She lit up my life and made me a better person,” her husband Ifan Jones, 23, told The Sun.

“We had so many plans and so many things we wanted to do with our lives. Our hearts are broken without her and she died in the most appalling and tragic way. The fact that she lay undiscovered for nearly two hours breaks my heart.”

The US-based SADS Foundation says they are “genetic heart conditions that can cause sudden death in young, apparently healthy, people”.

The most common SADS conditions include genetic arrhythmia syndromes such as long QT syndrome, catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) and Brugada syndrome, according to the RACGP.

“SADS conditions occur because the electrical system of the heart is not working properly, so that the heart beats with an abnormal rhythm,” the SADS Foundation says. “These conditions can be treated and deaths can be prevented.”

In the US, approximately 210,000 people die suddenly and unexpectedly each year due to sudden cardiac arrest, according to the American Heart Association.

The SADS Foundation says over half of the 4000 SADS deaths each year of children, teens or young adults have one of the top two warning signs. Those are, a family history of a SADS diagnosis or sudden unexplained death of a family member, and fainting or seizure during exercise, or when excited or startled.

Dr Paratz said from a public health perspective, combating SADS was “not as easy as everyone in Australia getting genetically screened” as scientists were still not 100 per cent clear on “what genes cause this”.

“The best advice would be, if you yourself have had a first-degree relative – a parent, sibling, child – who’s had an unexplained death, it’s extremely recommended you see a cardiologist,” she said.

“Anyone else, (see a cardiologist) if you have cardiac symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, or you can’t keep up with friends exercising or walking.”

Cardiology researchers have previously suggested that the complex effects of pandemic lockdowns would probably lead to more deaths from heart disease – a phenomenon dubbed “post-pandemic stress disorder” by psychologists in the UK.

Post-pandemic stress disorder is not an officially recognised mental health condition.

Coronary heart disease is Australia’s biggest killer, accounting for 17,731 deaths in 2019, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Health experts have recently urged more Australians to get their hearts checked, following a spate of high-profile deaths including cricket icon Shane Warne and Labor Senator Kimberley Kitching.

Meanwhile, health charity Hearts4Heart is urging Aussies to “be smart about their hearts” ahead of Heart Failure Awareness week from June 27 to July 3.

“Despite the name, heart failure doesn’t mean the heart has stopped or failed, it means the heart is ‘failing’ to keep up with the body’s demands,” the group says.

“Heart failure affects 500,000 Australians and claims around 61,000 lives every year – that’s approximately one person dying of heart failure every three hours, eight deaths each day.” ‘
