Here We Go Again?

A new image expressing my take on this latest event – “Caution” – may be viewed, along with all my other images, here.

I must say though that I am having difficulty mustering much sympathy for this bishop. You know: “What goes around…” You play with the big boys…” “Read ‘em & weep…” and my favorite “You should’a saw it comming…”.

Removing Metropolitan Jonah Hurt the American Orthodox Church

Not that it excuses anything, but keep in mind that “Dr.” Stankovich was treated for a “traumatic brain injury” at some point in his past. This fact goes toward explaining a lot of his present behavior in my estimation.

Simple. On the second ballot, vote/write-in “None of the Above”. (I’ve never been a fan of voting for the lesser of two evils.)

» Posted By Heracleides On September 12, 2012 @ 7:39 pm

Lol. Like I’d actually click on any link you provided? Must be amateur hour. Next you’ll be telling me how you’re phreaking my system via 8″ floppies and your 300 baud dial-in modem. By-the-way, still waiting on that SSN… Anyway – you have fun in your little black-hat (or lavender-hat as the case may be) fantasy land.

Oh please. I’ve conducted extensive background checks as part of my profession for a number of years and you’re simply blowing smoke. (Not a huge surprise here, considering some of your escapades.) I can’t believe I’m trading barbs with a washed-up prison social worker, but in any event – yes, “Dr.” Stankovich, I do use TOR and several other nifty tools and like I stated earlier – knock yourself out and let’s see what you fail to find.

P.S. None of this is intended to dispute your claim to fame of being an excellent, ah, “sniffer.” Amazing the jargon you prison skells come up with to describe your proclivities.

» Posted By Heracleides On September 9, 2012 @ 4:30 pm

“One “sniffs” an IP address coming into, say, a blog site, and then, say, the same address is “sniffed” on a “photo collection” site and things, as they say, come together… But the word of the day was simply caution. Careful, glass houses, stones, etc. “

Unless of course one is using a TOR browser, then you are SOL with your traffic analysis… but hey, knock yourself out.

Ah, but the Bishop misstated his “facts” with great courage… which seems to cover a multitude of shortcomings in some quarters.

» Posted By Heracleides On September 3, 2012 @ 8:33 pm

Why sacrifice a good bishop to the OCA? Let the OCA feed on their own.

» Posted By Heracleides On September 3, 2012 @ 7:06 pm

What a mature response, “Dr.” Stankovich. Adam isn’t the only one who has knowledge of your escapades (for lack of a more succinct term) while you occupied space SVS. Glass houses, stones, etc. Deal with it.

Wonderfully stated Veronica.

The Fires of Manton

Ummm… is this how you received 90% of the dirt you dish?

» Posted By Heracleides On August 21, 2012 @ 3:35 pm

Fire update as of 6 hours ago: “Cynthia Folsom, a Ponderosa Way resident whose neighborhood was mostly spared, said the fire pushed through behind nearby St. John’s Monastery, destroying some of her neighbor’s outbuildings but leaving homes and the monastery intact.” and “The monastery is still fine. They were able to stop it before it got to the monastery.”

OCA Snubbed at Ft Ross Celebration?

Another one, this time titled “…the Best!” Constructive suggestions welcomed at: heracleides@gmail.com

Edit: Interesting… forty-six views between my uploading the image and posting this message with link (which is not viewable and awaiting approval) – wanna bet how many of the subscribers to my Photobucket page are Syosset floaters?

Following on the suggestions of Veronica and other individuals, I’ve created a sample of one potential picket sign that could be carried at the sham AAC in Parma this fall. It is titled “No!” and may be viewed with my other images here.

» Posted By Heracleides On August 26, 2012 @ 8:31 pm

Well said Veronica. If you think one of the original images (or a modified version of one) that I’ve already done (found here) would be suitable for a picket, or have a new idea for an image, just let me know via my email included in this posting. I’ll do whatever I can to help.

Found another souvenir that will be available at the celebratory AAC in Parma this fall. It is entitled “Mugging” and is the latest of my images, all of which may be viewed here.

Love It or List It

Not too worry James. Stokoe took many of us in – myself included. Glad to see you’ve realized the Kool-Aid he peddled for what is was.

Let Us Pray

Anticipating tomorrow’s meeting of the Unholy Synod, I managed to acquire one of the mementos that will be given to all present by the future Metropolitan of the OCA… Entitled “Not A Crook” it and my other OCA images may be viewed here.

Alexander Solzhenitsyn: Live Not by Lies

I sometimes think that the hiring of good private investigators to tail the bishops of the OCA’s Unholy Synod during their ‘after-hours’ would reveal more sexual escapades than even the most willfully blind layperson could stomach and would (should) bring the farce that is the OCA crashing down in ruins.

More Evidence that Jonah Was Railroaded

“I’m wondering when being mean and belittling is appropriate.”

That’s certainly a question which only a bishop may discern. No doubt one of the major perks of the gig; definitely NOT something with which mere laypersons should concern themselves.

» Posted By Heracleides On September 6, 2012 @ 6:55 pm

Depends on the bishop, yes? Our history is rife with any number of clergy who have perversely misapplied scripture to suit their own agenda. In this instance, I’d have to come down solidly on Um’s side.

“I just cannot UNDERSTAND what M. Stankovich is talking about. Please, anyone, spell it out for me, preferably with a supporting citation…”

Would a cartoon suffice?

» Posted By Heracleides On August 7, 2012 @ 8:43 pm

I also wondered the same thing. My thought was that perhaps this is indeed a typo on Mr. Stankovich’s part and that the injury to his brain actually occurred in a ‘sewer’ as opposed to a ‘newer’ – all of which raises a whole new set of questions… perhaps he was assisting with some tunneling at his place of, ah, employment (i.e. San Quentin prison)? More plausible, however, is that (given his much trumpeted education) the injury occurred in an oddly named lecture hall or some such. :P

You neglected to ask if they’ve changed the sheets lately.

» Posted By Heracleides On August 3, 2012 @ 10:06 am

You’re more correct than perhaps you realize. Mr. Stankovich has previously revealed the following about himself:

“…the left orbit of my eye was fractured from a traumatic brain injury in a newer.”

Explains alot.

From Russia, Not with Love

Acting on a request, I’ve uploaded a new image – “Fool’s Errand” – which deals with Rev. Leonid’s most recent adventures in Russia. It may be viewed here.

Ditto. And for those who continue clinging to the OCA after the latest debacle – just think “Continuing Anglicans” – because your delusions for remaining are identical.

» Posted By Heracleides On July 31, 2012 @ 9:04 pm

Posted a new image – “Scuttle-butts” – that sums up on so many levels my take on recent events. I am starting to think that (for +Jonah in the short-term and the remnants of the OCA in the future) the outcome of the Unholy Synod’s actions will ultimately prove providential in advancing the formation of a functional American Orthodox Church. The image may be viewed here.
