Thanks George. Excuse my ‘English,’ but as my Grandfather of blessed memory was fond of saying “Sometimes you’ve gotta hold the bastards’ feet to the fire.” Which is true, or so I was taught as a social worker in my propaganda… er, “community organization” courses during my university days. Who would’ve guessed it’d come in handy someday.

From Syosset Press ™ I’ve received the cover of their newest “Best Seller” non-fiction novel which is available for viewing here: http://s1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff436/Heracleides/

I know what you mean. When I decided to go ahead and post this one (there are many that never get posted) I did it with the thought of ‘sauce, goose, gander.’

I’ve created a faux ‘icon’ called “Gravely Troubled” and it is available for veneration here: http://s1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff436/Heracleides/
(Yes, I admit it – I had a lot of fun creating this one. If anyone loudly objects, I will gladly offer a non-apology apology…)

Wasn’t really sure where to post this, but here goes. I’ve completed a new satirical image, entitled “Darth Mel” and it may be viewed here: http://s1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff436/Heracleides/

“Mister Stankovich has removed the photos of Father Robert Arida, Father Vinogradov and Protodeacon Eric Wheeler from his web site. Why were their photos there in the first place?”
Sorry Jane Rachel, but the clerics you mention still have their mugs on Stankovich’s website. Look under “Contacts” – the rugs (yes, pun intended) are viewable in all their glory.

Harry, more than a couple of days have passed… isn’t it past time for you to trot out your ‘young but never married’ dog and pony show? Never thought I’d say it, but your beating of that dead-horse would be a welcome break from your current ‘anonymite’ drivel.
» Posted By Heracleides On November 25, 2011 @ 8:51 am
Seems to be your standard response when you are called on the nonsense you peddle and are stumped for anything intelligent to say. Poor Harry.
» Posted By Heracleides On November 22, 2011 @ 4:07 pm
Harry, I believe Helga has already answered your questions. That you are apparently unwilling or unable to process the information leaves the ball in your court. Go educate yourself then come back when you are minimally informed on the topic and perhaps you can then engage in a meaningful conversation.

Harry, you and Carl are quite the pair.
If the allegations lodged against +Benjamin were deemed “without merit” then why launch an investigation to begin with… but then how can one determine something is “without merit” without first having an investigation? Talk about circular. The facts are that an investigation was launched and then quashed before it could deliver any findings – either good or bad. It’s called a cover-up, Harry, so get over yourself in attempting to defend the indefensible
Why is it that at any minute I expect to see a video on YouTube with +Benjamin lifting both arms into the air in faux blessing whilst declaring he is not a crook, drunkard, porn connoisseur, etc. while Harry, standing at his side, vigorously claps and capers around like a fool newly escaped from his mother’s basement lair.
» Posted By Heracleides On November 22, 2011 @ 12:35 pm
“How it is possible there be no investigation given such charges?”
Pay attention Harry. There was an investigation of +Benjamin iniated. +Benjamin conspired to have the investigation quashed. That is the outrage and says much about +Benjamin and his co-conspirators on the Unholy Synod.

What a coincidence, Stankovich, that you should mention photoshopping a picture. Having viewed your photograph on your ‘Queer Legacy’ website I noted a remarkable resemblance between you and Richard Simmons. Presently I am photoshopping your mug onto Simmons bikini-waxed body (as featured on the cover of one of his “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” DVD’s). Perhaps you can share it with +Benjamin and reminisce the next time he spends the night at your place. Enjoy.

Get a clue Harry. The allegations were made by a fellow bishop, one who seems more likely than most to know where the skeletons are buried and more than willing to dig them up when it’s to his advantage.
Unsavory character? Yes – but no more so than the one being called-out.
Allegations true or false? We’ll never know – because the bishop under investigation managed to quash the investigation of himself.

+Benjamin Peterson did all that plus intermittent rehab for his extreme alcoholism? It amazes me he still had the time to browse all that porn from his computer.
Yes, yes Stankovich, I know – the man is a virtual paragon and would have made the quintessential OCA Metropolitan if things hadn’t gone awry in 2008. Your loss is our gain.

I have to disagree Cyril. While an MSW is primarily an exit degree, many MSWs do go on to engage in social science research with their product frequently published in the Journal of Social Work and other peer-reviewed SW/SS publications. In fact, prior publication is required by many Schools of Social Work (my alma mater required two) for MSW entry into their doctoral programs.
I never said that Stankovich’s professional credentials authenticate his assertions and/or conclusions, only that he does have the necessary basic foundation from which to engage in such research. Given his silence, I doubt he has ever actually engaged in research, but is rather relying on the work of others or (especially given the work history detailed in his resume) is antidotal.

Well said, Helga.

At one point a couple of months ago I located Mr. Stankovich’s resume online and linked to it here (that link was removed). If the resume was not padded, then he does indeed have the credentials (MSW, LCSW, etc.) for credible research; if he has actually conducted such research and his work undergone peer-review is another matter. Like you, I too would be curious to know the answer to those questions.

Sadly Helga, that’s exactly what I think they are expecting.

Of course Dn. you conveniently forget that the Stokoe-Brown couple also represent themselves as, ah, a couple in terms of their public charitable donations. Go figure. Willful blindness must be a wonderful thing.
» Posted By Heracleides On November 13, 2011 @ 5:08 pm
Doubtful. When Mrs. Stokoe-Brown was booted from the MC only a couple of months ago he boldly proclaimed he wasn’t going anywhere – despite his bishop’s request that he immediately shut down OCA News. Now – just a few short days after being notified of legal action, Mark folds his tent and “suspends publication” – you connect the dots. Stokoe is a coward, and like most bullys backs down when faced head on with real consequences.

And yet Sophie you post with factual certainty that Fr. Karlgut “made it up” when in fact if you had even bothered to check his statement you’d find that Stan Drezlo confirms many of the details in one of his own rants. Go figure – citing Stan the Man to validate anything, but there you have it. I ascertain no reason to question Fr. Karlgut’s integrity, but you on the other hand are unknown and seemingly have a bias if not an outright agenda with your accusations and the tone in which you coach them.

How is it that you went from same-sex “roommates” in one paragraph to excoriating people for prying “…into the inner life of a household” in the next? So which is it Dn. Fr., same-sex roommates or homosexual households? Pick one and stick with it. Heterosexual and homosexual “households” are not one and the same – apples, oranges, etc. Comparing them without differentiation is a typical tactic of those propagating the homosexual agenda in order to normalize a ‘household’ that is anything but.
P.S. One needs to do no prying. Homosexuals by and large trumpet their sin of choice.

You really think so George? Myself, I’m still trying to sort out what the fallout from Seattle is likely to be in the next few months. Judging by his recent comments, Stokoe certainly does not appear out-of-sorts as to its outcome. In fact, the joker comes across as positively gleeful about this whole +Jonah evaluation business. I’m still fairly pessimistic, but am certainly willing to be shown the upside of the AAC. Time will tell I guess.

Add to that list St. Nicholas. A saint who did not walk away but rather kicked Arius’ heretical butt.

Stokoe has corrected his initial posting. It appears that Matovic had it right the first time around.

Decided to produce an image depicting my impression of +Benjamin’s performance during the Q&A session following the opening addresses on day-one of the AAC. It is titled “Swan Song” and may be viewed here: http://s1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff436/Heracleides/

The 16th AAC Begins: For an idea of a topic that will NEVER be addressed at this or any other All American Council (AAC), take a look at “Benny’s Jacket” here: http://s1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff436/Heracleides/
P.S. Yes, the mugshot is based on the actual photograph of +Benjamin’s November 2004 DUI arrest & booking in Nevada.
